
Haryana Government has provided/granted number of facilities to the police personnel of the State to improve the efficiency and the morale of the police force
Haryana Government vide Notification No. 22/8/2002-3HG-I dated 12.6.2003 have decided that two years/one year extension in service beyond the age of superannuation will be granted to those non-gazetted Police Officers/Personnel who are recipients of Police Medal, subject to physical fitness to discharge police duties and satisfactory service record, as follows:-

This will boost the morale of Police Force doing gallantry work & have distinguished service record.
Haryana Government vide Notification No. 22/8/2002-3HG-I dated 17.05.2005 have decided that two advance increment/one advance increment in service will be granted to those Deputy Superintendent of Police who are recipients of Police Medals immediate after the date of decision, as follows:-

This will boost the morale of Police officers doing gallantry work & have distinguished service record.
Police personnel drawing Ration money @ Rs. 150/- P.M, shall now be given ration money @ Rs. 350/- while those who are drawing ration money @ Rs. 100/- will get enhanced ration money @ Rs. 250/- P.M.
Diet money to the members of Commando force has been increased from Rs. 10 per day to Rs. 20/- per day and the Class IV employees of Commando Force drawing Diet Money @ Rs. 3/- per day will be given Diet Money @ Rs. 10- per day now.
Police employees are now eligible to be transferred to districts of their home range except their Home District and old policy of transferring police employees to far away places from their home districts has been discontinued.
System of written test for selection for list B-1 Test is being introduced once again in the Police Department.
Police Constables having 16 years of service shall automatically be promoted to the next higher rank i.e., as Head Constables so as to remove stagnation.
Washing allowance admissible to policemen has been doubled.
Members of the Haryana Police Commando Force who were removed from service during the year 1998 on charges of indiscipline have been taken back in service so as to give them a chance to reform themselves.
A sum of Rs. 5 lacs will be granted to the dependents of a deceased employee who die in action and Rs. 3 lacs shall be given to those who sustain grievous injuries in similar situations. Further the families of such deceased officials shall be paid family pension equal to the last pay drawn.
Call limit on the residential telephones of District SPS/Range IGPS/DG Police is being withdrawn.
Henceforth the newly promoted DSP shall be paid uniform allowance from the date of promotion instead of the date of approval of their appointment as DSP by Haryana Public Service.
A sum of Rs. 35,39,000/- has been disbursed to the families of deceased police personnel as death relief.
Retirement benefits of Rs. 61,45,000/- have been disbursed to the retirees of Haryana Police personnel.
A sum of Rs. One lac each has been given by the Government to the families of 8 Police personnel who were died in road accident at Jind.
Scholarships to the tune of Rs. 17,43,000/- have been disbursed to 1700 wards of Police personnel during the year 2001-2002.
The powers of sanctioning GPF/NRA have been delegated to DGP by Government.
Ch. Devi Lal Police Training and Research Centre has been established at Bhondsi (Gurgaon).
Janta personal accidental policy has been introduced for the welfare of Police personnel in Haryana and Rs. 20 lacs have been given to the victims so far.
311 dependents of deceased Police personnel have been given job during the last two years under ex-gratia scheme.
New Police Lines at Panchkula, Panipat, Yamunanagar and Telecommunication are under construction.
Madhuban has been declared as Sports District.
A relief of Rs. 76 Lac was given for victims of Kargil war, Rs. 38 lacs for victims of Orissa cyclone and Rs. 80 lacs for victims of Gujarat earthquake by Haryana Police.
Government have granted sanction of House Rent Allowance to the Police jawans while posted in Reserves and transfer in Home Range has been been permitted.
Conveyance Allowance to all ORs and NGOs of Haryana Police personnel has been increased 3 times.
