Set up in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi and inaugrated on October 21 by Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, the National Police Memorial serves as a constant reminder of the martyrs, who have laid down their lives for the nation since independence.
It is built in the honour of the police personnel who lost their lives in the fight against terrorism, militancy, insurgency and in the prevention of crime and maintenance of law and order.
The Wall of Valor, the age old museum underneath; symbolises the sacrifice by these brave souls.
Haryana Police pays special tribute to these brave martyrs and police personnel who had laid down their lives for the glory and security of our nation.
